Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication

Add a second layer of protection to your account in a couple of minutes.

1

Open your security settings

From your account or company settings, find the two-factor authentication (2FA) option.

2

Scan the code with an authenticator app

You'll be shown a QR code. Scan it with any standard authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, and similar all work), which then generates a fresh 6-digit code every 30 seconds.

3

Confirm with a code to finish enrolling

Enter the current code from your app to confirm the pairing worked. From then on, sign-ins will occasionally ask for a fresh code alongside your password, especially from a new device.

4

It applies the same way to every account type

Whether you're a candidate, recruiter, agency, or admin, 2FA works identically: one more reason it's worth turning on regardless of which side of the platform you're on.

Frequently asked
What if I lose the phone with my authenticator app?

Contact support with as much account-ownership context as you can provide. Once your identity is confirmed, we can clear the existing 2FA pairing on our end so you can sign in and set it up again on a new device.

Is 2FA required, or optional?

It's optional but strongly recommended for every account type, candidate, recruiter, agency, or admin alike, since it works identically across all of them.
